24 x 365 = 1
How is it that we all fall into the trap of thinking that what we do in one day doesn’t really matter? It’s only a day, right? There is and will always be tomorrow.
But the truth of the matter is that days add up. What do you do tomorrow builds on what you did today... and the next day on the prior two. Do something every day for long enough and before you know it, whether you did it on purpose or not, that thing defines you.
When you think of it that way, your daily habits are like building blocks. They are either creating a world by your design based on your intention, with you as the creator and architect, or they are building a world by default, one that is happening to you, based on luck (or lack of it) and external circumstances.
Either way, your days are creating your life... each one is like a miniature version of your year, and there is no such thing as a throwaway. When you wake up to this, really get present to the beauty of the system, you’ll see... the choice is yours... are you the master creator or the victim? And when you decide, how does that change what you do each day?
