Dry Farm Wines
I met Todd White several years ago and he promptly drew my attention to the fact that there are no nutrition labels on wine bottles. WHAT? Mind blown. How could I not have noticed that before? And where are the labels? Why are there no labels? Simple... wine manufacturers don't want you or anyone to know just how much sugar they contain!
Dry Farm Wines is the answer for anyone who enjoys a glass of wine, but who wants to minimize the impact that the wine has nutritionally and hormonally on your body. DFW curates wines from around the world that meet very high, laboratory tested standards for low sugar content (and other things). If you are following any sort of low carb diet, or just want to be less affected by the wine you drink, this is the wine for you!
LMNT - Electrolyte Replentishment Drink
LMNT is a new electrolyte replenishment drink that was created by Elemental Labs. And in full disclosure, my colleague and friend, Robb Wolf, is one of the people behind it.
As it turns out, higher amounts of salt (sodium, potassium, and magnesium) are actually good for you (not bad for your heart as the AMA would have you believe). As it also turns out, sugar (found in almost every other electrolyte drink out there) is unhealthy, unnecessary, and any energy it provides is better provided in other ways.
LMNT gives you the salt without any of the sugar. If you are ANY sort of athlete, this is a supplement that you definitely should be adding to your pre- and post- workout water. Be forewarned, if you haven't drank salted water before, it will take a little getting used to. But it's definitely worth it.
